What to Bring to GBHL:

Essentials:

*****All Bedding including sheets, pillows, pillowcases, blankets, quilts. The mattresses are cot style twins except where noted.

Towels, washrags for the family

Toiletries

Snacks for between meals and excursions.

Water canteens

Flashlights for everyone with extra batteries.

Walkie Talkies for family members to communicate across campus

Cell phone and all chargers

Camera & Camera battery chargers

Rain Gear (in case!) Rain boots/additional shoes or boots for kids.

Baby slings/wraps

Notebooks and pens for everyone

All toys, games, books, etc that will be in shared areas should probably have your name in or on it so you are sure to get it back.

Lots of extra clothes (there is no washer and dryer available on site)

Extension cord and reading light if you are in a cabin or dorm

Hoses and electrical cords in RVs

Socks: This area is populated by white tailed deer- to help prevent tic bites, bring socks for your kids to wear their pants tucked in.

Flip flops for shared bathhouses.

Medications/supplements

Extra layers in case of cool weather

Air mattress if you need one

Gaming equipment, consoles, games, wires.

Laptop. Wires.

Ipod.

One can of whipped cream per child. (to be announced!)

 

 

 

 

 

Fun Stuff:

Anything you have that is broken for the Take It apart room…Appliances, tools, instruments, old watches, jewelry, machines. Smallish stuff.

Blankets for fort making

Books for Book club

Knitting and or knitting needles for knitting funshop

Supplies for Artist Trading Card funshop

Your Talent Show song on CD.

Cash for massages and raffles.

Auction items (see email in yahoo group about what is needed)

Share Our Wares items – these can be anything you or your kids like to make- paint shells and sell them for a quarter- kids will love having their creations purchased!

Yoga Mats for family yoga- (some will be available).

Blocks and/or building toys for blocks room

Old dress up items for dress up room.

We can use extra safety goggles for take it apart room- and old working tools!
